Guest guest
Severin and Penny Thank you both for the info. It was very encouraging to read both your accounts. At this point I clearly have no idea what the next step is, other than to likely have another go at an ERCP with a different doctor. It is a daunting thought, with the unpleasantness of Thursday so fresh in my mind. And I can readily admit that I expected everything to go swimmingly, so I was just so deflated by the news when I woke up. I had a successful dilation a few years ago (no more than 4, as it was since Anneke was born), so it was perfectly logical that it would go fine this time as well. Talk about a sucker punch. I have been guilty of thinking of my PSC as " indolent, " as the MDs describe it. That may be true, but clearly the dominant stricture changes the landscape completely. Anyway, I'll be chugging Questran and keeping busy between now and the 22nd, when I see the hep again. Colleen in MA Severin wrote: > In the end, the resection was the right thing to do for me.
