Val, maybe it would be good to consult personally with Andy? Your dose is so

very low that, if I were you, I would have long since decided I'm sensitized to

the DMPS...but I'm hardly the expert here. It's hard to imagine being more

poisoned than I have & survived it, and I'd grown sensitive to zillions of foods

& chemicals, but my body sure appreciates chelation with either DMPS or DMSA.

I assume you've tried DMSA, too?

What is your typical daily diet? Have you been able to identify troublesome

foods & eliminate them? Have you done anything to help cleanse or assist your

liver? colon? Do you have ongoing digestive problems? Is there any potential

you still have a leaky gut (this would be my biggest concern from what you're

describing)? Have you tried a parasite treatment or cleanse? Although it may

sound backwards, for me these issues were being addressed for a year or two

before amalgam removal. Having that knowledge, having made necessary lifestyle

changes, and being in touch with & knowing what to do to assist my body, I

believe, makes a big difference in being able to chelate.

Of one thing I am certain: chelation would not and could not happen for me on

a 'mainstream', processed food diet, period, and I don't notice enough attention

to this subject on internet chelation groups. I consider foods like french

fries, donuts, Wonder Bread, Coke, broccoli-Velveeta cheese-Cambell's soup

casseroles, Ritz crackers & Hamburger Helper non-foods and " complicating "

toxins, yet almost all people believe that, on some level, they are healthy,

provide nutrition, and couldn't possibly be harmful. A friend diagnosed with

Stage IV ovarian cancer couldn't be convinced otherwise. (I call it the

" gospel " according to Kraft.) It's a lot easier to take pills than it is to

permanently alter the way we eat & return to spending hours a day in the

kitchen, especially when we're so very sick. Obviously, this is a source of

deep frustration for me that coincides with amalgam illness and other common

chronic health issues occurring today.

You have probably been through all of the cleanses & lifestyle changes, too.

I'm just really sorry to hear this isn't progressing better for you and hope you

find the answers you need very soon.

Joanne
