I would like the mexican sauerkraut recipe as well as mustard.

I pickel stuff things as well. I pickel garlic, carrotts, and various other veg's. It turns our real good. The garlic especially is good.

I had a question regarding fermentation. Is fermentation only recommanded with salt or can I use vinager?

Colleen,We supplement with cod liver oil off and on as well, and we make ourown sauerkraut. I have a very good mexican sauerkraut recipe if youare interested. Are you into fermented foods? I make a fermentedmustard that everyone says is amazing. Unfortunately I wouldn't know,since I don't like mustard.
