I've been using Cap for over a year - it is the greatest stuff ever, and the only thing to ever help with my pain whatsoever. I have had no nerve damage, and it has in fact strengthened my tissue. I recommend it to anyone who can deal with the burning upon application.

Hi, I saw Dr. Kellogg on Monday and she started me on Capsaicin cream. Of course it burns real bad when I have it on, but since I started using it my burning and irritation seem worse. I'm worried that it could cause some kind of permanent nerve damage. Has anyone else tried it, and what do you think about it making things worse in the long run? I can deal with the burning while using it if I knew that it wouldn't cause more harm. Since Dr. Kellogg believes in using it, I prefer to have opinions from some of you ladies. Thanks.
