Stacey – thank you

for posting another success story on your vestibulectomy. Mine will be two

weeks this Wednesday and if someone had told me that it would be this great –

that I would be pain free – I never would have believed them. Good thing

I am not a betting man, I would have lost big time! And even from the surgery

itself, I just had a few drops of blood on a pad after being released from the

hospital. And I can feel where the stitching was as it pulls a little on a

corner on one side, but that’s it. And I have to admit, I have been a

chicken – and I haven’t taken a mirror and looked yet. I have a

final checkout a week from today with my doctor, and then I will ask about sex –

the final hurdle.

VVS Surgery

I had surgery last June 2006 because my symptoms were

only pain on

contact. I think that having only that symptom you can have a greater

chance of success. It is now just over a year since I had my

vestibulectomy and have never been happier. I wish you luck!
