Yes, a POA would allow us to get food stamps and medical care for the kids. Guardianship is more involved in Arizona and requires a court date and is harder to rescind (also requires a court date).I am already feeling better but I'm really, REALLY tired still... hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. Sharon,

I find that some, if not all, of my MonSter related stuff,

worsens with added stress... And I'm hoping and praying that

this is what you are experiencing as well... only because when

the stress eases, so do the extra/added symptoms. That would

mean the more you relax and get back to your normal chaos, the

better you'll be feeling. Though, if you're like me, the

changing of the seasons (mine is especially worsened between

Winter & Spring, or I seem to notice it more then), brings

on a little extra MonSterish activity as well.

I wonder if POA where you are, would be the same as guardianship

is here in PA? I understand that POA anywhere would give you the

authority to accept or decline medical treatment on the

children's behalf, as well as make other decisions for them

too. Guardianship here in PA, will also allow those things, as

well as receiving "benefits" for the kids (aka food stamps, cash

assistance, and medicaid. Though they already have medicaid, I

believe, as you stated in an earlier post.) But with extra

mouths to feed, and a couple of those kids being female and "off

a certain age bracket" cash for other necessities would/could be

quite helpful as well, should you find yourself in possession

once again. Do you know if the POA would allow for this way down

there?

Ahhh... the extra three

kids and their dad are finally GONE! Now the house is back to

the relative quiet of just three adults and four kids (8, 13,

15, 16), 6 dogs, 8 indoor cats...... I don't know if that

sounds quiet to you --but it sounds like heaven to me:)

I have had more numbness in my abdomen, legs and especially

feet. I am having the mid back pain that usually goes along

with MS stuff. My ribs are hurting all around and I'm

apparently having the MS hug. I have a bottle of prednisone I

can take if I need. I think a little bit of a calmer life will

probably solve this little flare.

So the dad and kids are gone. But for how long, is the

question? The dad goes to court on Tuesday. My family is

hoping and praying the dad can stay out of trouble and out of

jail. The dad did give me a power of attorney over the kids.

I hope I never need it again:)

Thanks to each of you for your moral support!

love you all

Sharon
