Thank you for all of your kind words of welcome! J I am searching for support now as although I do keep a positive attitude there are times when my MS gets to me and I have no one to share my issues with or anyone who can relate to how I am feeling or what I can do next. I have had MS for 16 years now. Considering all, I am doing fairly well. I have no right to complain. Lately though my legs have been feeling REALLY heavy. I wonder if it is all from the stress in my life. I am a single Mom now (for the last 2 yrs) and have a lot in my current home to manage on my own. I sound like I am whining now L I do try and hire others to help me out……… I was on Avonex for 2 years but took myself off it 3 years ago when the prefilled med came along as I had a violent reaction to it. I am patiently waiting for a new oral drug (can’t remember the name of it!) to be approved in Canada. The FDA approved the drug in 2009 and Canada does follow suit but it does take time. I have botx injections (every 1 ½) into my bladder for my spastic bladder resulting in frequent bathroom visits. I highly recommend this to everyone who has the same problem as I did. The botox works amazingly well. That’s it for now as I don’t want to scare you away! I think you will find that you may have just found yourself a new home with tons of people who are great in the support department; have a tremendous amount of knowledge or experience with the MonSter; and even more than a few of us (should we not know the answer to a question) will provide you with a link to finding the answer. This is the most fantastic, lovable, and caring MiSmatched group of people it's been my pleasure to know! I hope that you will feel at home here as well. When you're ready to share, we'll be happy to listen. Until then, it's okay to "lurk" as well (just try not to wait too long, because we are also a semi-nosy group as well... LOL).Until then...HUGS from|)onna in PA (we also have another Donna in the group too) Hi! I am a "newbie" here and wanted to drop by and say hello. :-)------------------------------------
