I saw a post that said he is a man of little words. I was hoping maybe someone that has seen him could give me some advice about how to get the most information out of this visit. We are traveling a long way to get as much information about my husband as possible. I don't want this trip to be a waste of time and alot of money. wife to Rick-crohn's, PSC, spondyloarthopathy

Guest guest
I would like to " ditto " what Tarheel Tim " has to say about Dr. Lindor. We love the guy. I remember sitting there in his office 5 years ago when we were still trying to get our heads around this weird diagnosis for my daughter. He was patient, thorough, very receptive, and listened attentively to all our blathering. I knew we were in the right place with the right MD. Then, after we got our business taken care of to everyone's satisfaction, we got to see him as a normal guy. He knew about Libby's soccer history and he was peppering her with questions about the keeper position and the difficulties of playing at the college level. (His daughter was on her way to playing Div.3 ball that fall). He was just like any other proud papa I see on the sidelines. It was very refreshing. I saw him a couple years later at the Liver Symposium at Green Hospital in La Jolla and our local hep was kind enough to call me over to say hi to Dr. Lindor before the day began. He asked how Libby was doing and then I had the funniest experience of standing between two of the most knowledgeable men I have ever met and hearing the two of them try to tell me a GI joke....centering on bodily functions and sugar free ice cream. Oh my gosh. I was tempted to tell them not to quit their day jobs! Wells A very big fan of Dr. Lindor and proud Mom to Libby, 23 yrs. old, psc(03), who is a 2nd year grad student at USC's film school and currently in South Korea with the U.S. Woman's National Soccer Team as their videographer.
