high cortisol at night / PS

Hi,

I'm a male with adrenal and rt3 issues.

Before taking HC(and any medication), I had a bad sleep, but still could sleep

at night, but with HC I experience insomnia.

I have high cortisol at night according to my saliva test, and low during the

day.

I noticed that if I take the majority of my HC dose the morning I sleep better.

I tried yesterday 400mg PS at bedtime but it did not work so I wonder if for a

male the dose need to be higher, like 1000mg (pure PS not combined formula)?

This is very weird, because if I even sleep 3h a night, the next night I won't

be able to sleep, but I would be tired, like too much coffee and this is

exhausting. But generally when I'm very tired, I fall asleep around 9-10pm then

wake up at 1am and can't sleep anymore. But I'm very tired in the morning and

could sleep during the day time actually.

As I said above, I had a bad sleep before, but not as bas as with HC.

I also noticed I'm hungry at night, and my body gets very warm, although during

the day I'm cold because of hypo.

I began T3 (T3 are not in cause with my insomnia because I had it before the T3

intake) just a week ago, and tried a 10mg dose before bedtime but it did not

work for my sleep, and I'm not experiencing T3 pooling either. Should I take a

higher dose? (I'm currently at 25mg T3 through the day).

So my thought is:

-take more PS before bedtime. Which dose?

-Maybe take T3 (would say 10mg) before bed time.

-Take high dose HC the morning: I'm currently doing 9am 10mg, 12am 5mg, 4pm 5mg,

7pm 5mg. I try to take my last dose as early as possible. Maybe I should do

something like 9am 15mg-12am 15mg and small doses the rest of the day, since men

need higher dose of cortisol than women.
