Guest guest
Yes, I do think some experimenting will be needed to get this on track. My other thought is timing...if the timing of one medication is not ideal to the other. If it was me, I'd try taking the " bedtime " dose of T3 before bedtime (by maybe a half hour? or an hour?)...then the HC right at " lights out " . And if that didn't help, vice-versa. > > > > > > Hello All, > > > > > > Just wondering if anyone would be willing to share their own thoughts, opinions and experiences with taking a bedtime dose of t3. > > > > > > I've been having some difficulties with it and would very much appreciate anyone's experiences or advice. > > > > > > > > > Thank you! > > > Kathleen > > > > > >
Guest guest
Yes, something is right and, unfortunately, I will likely just have to experiment. One thing is that my body could be adjusting to the new HC schedule. But definitely I must be either low or high at night. Just don't know which. I thought taking t3 before " lights out " might wake us up too much?? Leisa: I never used to take a bedtime t3 either. I only started because I was having a hard time tolerating all the t3 during the day. (My cortisol was low, but I didn't realize it.) So I started taking 1/3 of the dose at bedtime and I was actually able to tolerate more t3 this way. Go figure! But then Val thought I have/had high nighttime cortisol, so that was probably why I could tolerate the t3 at bedtime. I may have to just call Val and get her advice on what's going on at night.
