I saw these two things on aspirin:

Aspirin is contraindicated in thyrotoxic crisis because it displaces T3 and T4 from binding proteins.

aspirin is contraindicated because it displaces T4 from thyroid-binding globulin (TBG), increasing free T4

So does this mean that normally, Asprin would be good because it would increase levels of free t3 and t4?

Would Ibuprofen do that too?
