Guest guest Posted June 1, 2010 Report Share Posted June 1, 2010 I saw these two things on aspirin: Aspirin is contraindicated in thyrotoxic crisis because it displaces T3 and T4 from binding proteins. aspirin is contraindicated because it displaces T4 from thyroid-binding globulin (TBG), increasing free T4 So does this mean that normally, Asprin would be good because it would increase levels of free t3 and t4?
