Test beyond the basic saliva cortisol? Things that help you get by?

I'm wanting to make sure I have all my bases covered so that when my ferritin is

good I can start the Cynomel immediately.

I did a saliva cortisol test about 10 months ago [~Aug 09] showing

morning, noon and evening elevated,

nighttime level in range.

I'm thinking it might be good to test again to see where I am. Especially since

I'm feeling worse lately and having trouble

sleeping.

Wondering if the other adrenal tests are necessary right now (i saw them listed

in adrenal packages on the lab testing sites), like:

DHEA

aldosterone

renin

sodium

potassium

etc.

Not sure if any of these will be a concern regarding Cynomel and Rt3 clearance.

I do plan to test more comprehensively (vitamins, mineral,

sex hormones etc.) once I get my reverse T3 dominance

problem resolved, because it seems that may resolve many issues

on it's own. Then I can see what's left over to address.

Also i'm looking for ways to get me by in the

meantime, taking sublingual methyl b12, sublingual adenosylb12, folate, and

bcomplex, was hoping for a boost in mental/physical

energy but i don't notice much difference (it's only been 4 or 5 days)

Also taking

melatonin sublingual

iron

C

ALA

D3

Flax oil

Sea salt

Generic Dexedrine (for ADHD)

Natural Progesterone Troche 250mg daily (days 14-26 of cycle)

Does anyone have any luck with b12 shots or using a nasal form?

If so, what type do u use? i know u can buy and administer the shots

yourself and it's less expensive. (although would rather do nasal, cuz needles

freak me out) I'm looking for something that works fast …especially on the

really hard days, otherwise i am going to have to

increase my ADHD stimulant meds and don't like doing that.

So any ideas would be great.

If u got thru that thanks :), Lila

ps.I originally posted this in the adrenal fatigue group, assuming it was

similar to this group. no, very different views, which is fine but the response

was like how some of the doctors are...a bit intimidating :/
