Guest guest Posted August 28, 2008 Report Share Posted August 28, 2008 Hi, everyone. I am Janet in Jersey and I am usually a lurker since I have been asymptomatic for a few years. However, I read the posts regularly. I have a question right now, though. Recently, I have been having an unusual amount of pain and digestive problems. I had an ERCP two weeks ago and thought it resolved the issue. However, prior to my ERCP, in June, I had a CT Scan and they found two small " nodules " in my liver approximately 1 cm each. The drs at the time, did not think it was anything, but the head of radiology said it looked like cancer. Anyhoo, long story short, yesterday I went to see the dr who performed the ERCP two week ago and he said because strictures have closed the main bile duct so much, he will be putting in TWO stents tomorrow, one large and one small. Anyone every had this done? Also, he said he will also try to get a biopsy to try to establish if, in fact, it is cancer. Just needed to vent, everyone. I STRONGLY believe in the power of prayer and I ask all to pray for me as I go in tomorrow morning at 6:00am Eastern Standard Time. Thanks for listening.....
