So this would seem to indicate that a large increase would be okay. Gee, that means that this list may be the only people who survive if bird flu ever goes epidemic.. - seriously though, there actually IS an article about the use of corticosterids with the bird flu on PubMed: A rationale for using steroids in the treatment of severe cases of H5N1 avian influenza.
