Guest guest
I received a call today (yesterday actually) from a new doctor's office. Apparently my labs were negative for diagnosis of what sort of ILD I have, so pulmodude sent a referral to a cutter. I called his office back and will see him on 12/15 to discuss and probably schedule a VATS. Horror stories, please. Pleasant ones will be nice, too. My concern isn't so much the procedure as recovery from the procedure. Most of you know I'm an addict...clean and sober for 1112 days now. My drugs of choice were vicodin and whiskey, together. I haven't had the need for pain meds since getting sober and I don't plan on asking for them, thank you. I practice meditation and hope that it will help me through any pain issues I may have post-op. By the way, cutter is snarky nurse talk for a surgeon. jon -- Two wrongs don't make a right, but two 's make an airplane.
