Guest guest
I think you are generally reading things right and you've got the right issues to work on. You might be overwhelming yourself with a lot of information about what to do all at once. Try to prioritize things. Here is my summary: Mercury is your biggest problem. You need to get your amalgams out and chelate. See TK's general suggestions for chelation - you can start 4 days after all amalgam is removed. Until you start chelation, you can make sure you are taking all the basic recommended supplements p. 133-134. I would definitely include zinc and molybenum, both for mercury and copper problems. You have a copper problem, but it may resolve quickly with copper reduction treatment. The recommendations for copper can be found in one or more of: the book, the archives here or onibasu.com, or Moria's site. These are all important references, so I suggest getting familiar with them. Andy recommends repeating the hair test after a few months of copper reduction treatment to make sure it comes down. Don't worry about aluminum (yellow level toxics are not significant) or titanium (it may be a sign of mineral transport being messed up). I think it is important to do some type of exercise if you can tolerate it. Any kind of movement, breathing, stretching is helpful. What you want to avoid is the stuff that makes you feel bad afterwards or the next day. That doesn't go away by repeating the attempt, trust me. If you want to try something gentle, stick with qigong or tai chi or similar. These are very good for you if you feel good doing them and are pretty gentle on your body. I would not supplement manganese unless you feel you have symptoms of deficiency (p. 119-121, 258). It is a synergistic toxin with mercury. Same goes for iron, unless blood tests show you are anemic (I would not go by muscle testing for this). Low cobalt is common on toxic tests. Doesn't correlate with B12 levels (p. 128). Diet is an individual thing. Some will do well on SCD, some will need a different diet or additional restrictions. See the diet file if you need to figure out a diet. If you are not on a low glycemic diet, it will help. Also try some chromium picolinate if you haven't. Andy suggests a supplement of 5 mg per day of lithium orotate for people with undetectable lithium. > These recommendations are ONLY from the hair test book/hair test > results. > Omega 3 – flax oil – 10-50 grams per day. Or fish oil a few grams per day. > Calcium – 500mg (should be twice level of magnesium) Can be more or less than magnesium, depends on the person. > Selenium > Vit D – (get more sunshine!) (may help with the calcium?) (think its > Vit D3 I need) I would not count on your body to make it. I take 1000 IU daily. > Vit B12 – 1-12mg (not mcg) > Manganese 5-15 mg ( but low dosage, not above RDA.) I take 5 mg or so because I am generally low in all minerals. If you are not or don't have any symptoms of deficiency, I would skip it. > Boron - 3mg. investigate Supposed to be helpful with bone-building. Maybe helps us use calcium? I can't remember. > Lithium – yes, but what dosage? 5 mg. If you find it helpful, you can take more - read up on it. Lithium orotate. > Chromium – 200 mcg per meal plus 1000 mcg extra per day. *Total* 1000 mcg per day. > Vanadium - ? this is all about adnenals, so investigate them before > taking this. I think this is good for some blood sugar problems (high) - not directly for adrenals as far as I know. > Vit C – 4-12 grams per day. Buffered for is better. Depends on the person. I take ascorbic acid with meals and ascorbate between meals. > Milk thistle. 1-2 capsules per meal. (Equivalent 250-750mg silymarin) > > With the following supplements I need specific help to see if I > should take, ask Simon+FDC > Kelp? – ask Simon (start @ low dosage) I take kelp for thyroid benefits (iodine). 1 or 2 caps with meals. > Zinc? – 50-100mg per day. I think yes, but ask yahoo FDC Andy says 100 to start. > Molybdenum? – 1,000 mcg. Ask yahoo FDC Yes. > Iron – no stop taking this supplement. > Progesterone? – investigate be taking it, but I think I have enough > supplements. > > I am already currently taking the following supplements(2nd Oct > 2007) > Magnesium citrate 1000 mg (morning) You will absorb a lot more if you split this 5 x 200 or 10 x 100. > Btaine & pepsin 960mg + 20 mg (breakfast, lunch and dinner) > Vit E 400mg (600iu) (4000pct RDA) (breakfast, dinner) > Vit C 368mg (600pct RDA) plus vit E 30mg (breakfast, dinner) You need *more* vitamin C. At least 4 grams per day. At least 3-4 doses. > Vt B12 100ug (10000pct RDA) (breakfast, dinner) > Ion plus vit C 10mg plus Vit C 300mg (breakfast, dinner) – need to > stop this. Unless you need it to correct anemia. --

My short term memory is not working correctly. If I write things down (or type things up) I seem to remember things considerably better and I know what I am supposed to be doing. > Mercury is your biggest problem. Now I know what to expect, I have been dreading the after-effects of removal big time. Today the brain fog is extreme. I feel like a zombie. I can't remember what I typed let alone what you have typed here, so I will review everything when things calm down and I can think straight Thanks a million, Sunshine
