Guest guest
Nick I've sent this a couple of times but my internet is really acting up and I hadn't seen an answer yet, thus the bump...anyway my temps are really stable now and today I averaged 98.6 for the first time ever;-) I just got my cytomel in but now I don't know if I should just stick with 4 gr. Naturethroid/30 mg. HC like I'm doing or go onto T3 only protocol. Nick my labs a couple months ago were ft3 4.0 and rt3 269, ratio 14.8. Before these last labs my ft3 had been midrange and my rt3 ratio was 16. Should I stick with NT 4 gr. or switch over to Cytomel?? Thanks for your help.Kem<<Posted by: "Kem Tillford" Losinit4good@... fromthemommaTue May 11, 2010 4:28 am (PDT)My adrenals finally stabilized on 30 mg HC , it's going on 2 weeks now. I also take 4 gr. NT and now my temps are also finally going up into the 98's and am actually hitting 98.6 late in the day (a far cry from over a year at 94 - 96's). I have been tested for RT3 2 months ago (prior to upping HC to 30 mg. and adrenals stabilizing) and the test revealed a ratio of 14.8. I feel like I'm making progress on NT and HC but my question is do I still need to go on T3 only meds now that my adrenals are stablized and temps are climbing toward an average of 98.6? I'm thinking the HC is actually helping the NT get into the cells now and up my temps. Am I going to make the rt3 issue worse by staying on NT and eventually get all clogged up again if I stay with NT rather than go on the cytomel? In the past (with unsupported adrenals) NT works great for a while then stops so I have to updose...ongoing pattern. Now adrenals are supported and I don't want to screw that up, I'd love an opinion on whether or not I should stick with NT or go onto cytomel, I've already ordered T3. Fatigue and low metabolism/weight issues still continues to be an issue but other hypo symptoms have resolved for the time being.Kem in Eugene<º)))><11b.Re: My temps are stable and climbing now/NT or T3?Posted by: "Nick Foot" lists@... nickrwymTue May 11, 2010 4:48 am (PDT)>>In the past (with unsupported adrenals) NT works great for a while >then stops so I have to updose...ongoing pattern.
