Why do you think so? And do you mean as a trigger? I've had ulcers for years,

without H> Pylori. I can trace my symptoms of PSC/UC back to a really bad

stomach/intestinal flu episode that lasted a week. One week later the pain and

hospitalizations began. When they took my gall bladder out 9 years later it had

shriveled up and had adhesions throughout it and outside of it. One month later

the pain was back worse than ever, hospital stays and another 7 years I get

diagnosed with liver disease and UC. Go figure. I believe there definitely

seems to be clear indication that auto-immune problems run in families. Triggers

are probably as varied as the different manifestations of PSC. Take care, Cheryl

ID PSC/AIH, UC, fibromyalgia, etc.
