Palps and tight throat on T3

Hi there,

I have now been on T3 for around 5 weeks (and 5-3-3-1 isocort for 6 months). My

ferritin was 97 before starting and my average first-half-of-my-cycle temps were

36.8 and stable.

I started on 12.5mcg twice a day and eventually got up to 50mcg a day (spread

out 5 times a day). I had no problems raising except a couple days after I

initially started (on 25mcg a day) I got heart palps so I decreased to 12.5mcg

and was fine raising since then.

But 3 days after raising from 43.75 to 50, my heart started pounding again

badly, and I couldn't sleep at all. So I lowered my dose right down to 37.5mcg,

but I'm still getting the heart pounding (and racing when I do anything like get

up). I have also noticed for the past 3 or 4 weeks that my throat is very

tight. My temps go up to average of 37 whenever I raise, but then a couple days

later, drop to an average of around 36.9.

This is all very scary for me and at the moment I just want to wean off the

isocort and T3 because I am so worried I am doing myself harm, as I feel like my

general condition is worse since starting T3 and isocort. I am still lethargic

and can't lose weight - I lost 8 pounds on my first 10 days of being on T3..but

haven't been able to lose anything since, eventhough I have been following a low

GL diet. Having said that - usually if I dont sleep, I feel extremely bad all

day, but I haven;t been feeling more lethargic than usual.

But at the same time, I would like to raise again, but I am now worried about my

throat and heart! Any advice is greatly appreciated! Thanks so much! I am 27yrs

old and doing this all on my own!
