TK--- this is not correct - ALA increases the amount of removal and does not have to be used with DMSA - it is a powerful chelator on it's own which obviously the person writing the article is unaware of. ALA is the chelator that is going to get people well and pull Hg out of brains and organs not DMSA - Mercola does not know what he is talking about. DMSA only chelates extracellular Hg [body burden] and is usefull for the many reasons covered in the past, AI book, links and files. ALA chelates Intracellular and extracellular - body, brain and organs.. > Comments? > RO

Guest guest
I did my first chelation round with alpha-lipoic acid in March, 4 rounds, each for 3 days with 4 days off, 12 - 25mg per round, increasing dosage each week. However, I got painful bleeding hemorrhoids that took 2 months to recover from. I've still got a bunch of poisons in my brain and I need to continue with the ALA, but I don't want to do this because of the side-effects. Any advice? My doctor said that ALA does something to the blood vessels, which would account for the bleeding.
