Guest guest
Joan, I think as the adrenals try to heal we get less adrenaline so we feel MUCH more tired. Very frustrating I know! You will also start to feel MORE hypo as you go on the t3 as your body is able to use it so you actually have less available. I am on 100mcg and still have days where I am absolutely exhausted Again, very frustrating but I think it is part of the process. I think we need to learn to listen to our bodies and rest. You are at the early end of the journey with the T3 so you need to rest more than normal I think. I got your card... Thanks so much Kitty To: RT3_T3 Sent: Thu, June 10, 2010 2:26:18 PMSubject: Starting Cytomel Symptoms....Please Share I just wondered if anyone would share their journey so far? I started on Cytomel on Saturday, and on Sunday seemed to perk a little. My temps actually came up to 98.6 that afternoon for the first time in forever! But now, all I want to do is lie down or rest...(today Thursday). I could hardly get out of bed in the a.m. yesterday or today. Just felt like I could NOT lift my head off of the pillow. Also have that foggy brain feeling like someone stuffed a sock in my head. I have rt3, and was tested at 12.14 range last week. Is it possible that the 20 mcg of Cytomel (increasing to 25 today) is working some, and that my body is trying to force me to be still so it can heal? I don't feel wired/tired like I used to feel....just so tired! How long until it gets better? I feel like a slug, and I hate not being able to do much because my husband works so hard. I do his paperwork from home, but it stinks, because I was productive before, and went in to our plant every day and was involved with things. I want my life back! (Yes, I'm whining)! I don't care if you notice just little things, I want to know what they are. I'm curious that way! Blessings to all of you who are on this tough journey. I pray that each day ahead will be easier and easier for you all! And special blessings to the mods.....what wonderful folks they are!Joanie
