Guest guest
I once read an account by someone who seemed really damaged after IV DMPS. It sounded as though the damage was massive and permanent. But when he took DMSA, he got better almost instantly, in a way he described as almost miraculous. He continued to go up and down for awhile after that but the point is that the damage was clearly reversible and therefore not permanent. In all likelihood, you did not suffer permanent damage. I can't tell you what to do from here but if it were me, I would start off on DMSA alone, VERY small doses every 3 hours, as per Andy's protocol. Increase VERY gradually. When it comes to chelation, it is becoming very clear to me that haste makes waste. Dean getting better after NDF mistake 2 months after having my fillings removed i was stupid enough, to try NDF for 2-3 weeks. I used a lower than recommeded dosage, felt very bad and crazy after a while and quit. Unfortunately the dizziness and lightheadness did not go away after i discontinued it. 2 weeks later i got massive panick attacks for the first time in my life, confusion and had a small nervous breakdown. My sense of balance was impaired(mostly legs) and i developed unstable mild ataxia like gait. 8 Months later i feel stronger emotionally again, but still have this slightly detached from reality feeling, not 'being there' feeling, unstable gait, weak leags and impaired sense of balance. I havent done any chelation so far. Is anybody here that has been hurt by NDF and got better after using andys protocol? Would like to hear your honest opinion if the ataxia can go away with chelation or if this is a result of permament nerve damage.

Guest guest
A close friend and I were both damaged by NDF. To some extent the damage has healed with time for both of us. I can't say that we have been cured by chelation because she hasn't chelated yet and I haven't chelated with ALA long enough to reverse the NDF damage (I think that the NDF redistributed mercury to my brain because I had brain type symptoms when I used it). I agree with Chicago Dean that proper chelation will eventually reverse the damage. I resolved my ataxia problems by going on a GFCFSF diet several years before my amalgams were removed. I think it was likely the gluten that contributed to the ataxia. That was proof enough to me that nerve damage will heal with time (much of the numbness, tingling, loss of feeling that I had in my legs, shooting pains, electrical shock sensations, healed with time too). > > I once read an account by someone who seemed really damaged after IV DMPS. > It sounded as though the damage was massive and permanent. Guest guest
I have almst finished my first round of 12.5 mg, and i also felt better instantly when starting the dmsa. Was not sure if this can work so quick, sometimes i believe it must be placebo. But i feel good on the dmsa. Dizziness and balance have not improved. Lets see how i feel when the redistribution starts. If i wasnt so sleep deprived i think i would stay on the DMSA forever > > I once read an account by someone who seemed really damaged after IV DMPS. > It sounded as though the damage was massive and permanent.
