Guest guest Posted February 7, 2008 Report Share Posted February 7, 2008 I've been at 17.5 mg Cortef for one month with no improvement. My temps have been stable but low, around 97.7/97.8. I had to ask the doc for a trial of thyroid meds, he didn't suggest it. He gave me samples of Cytomel. He's thinking I should taper off Cortef as soon as possible. He says 17.5 is already a high dose and I should be at least feeling something. I'm feeling so down.
