Wyndie,

I saw your note about chelating children. I was just wondering if I should

chelate my 6 y/o

son. Did you have your children tested to find out if they are toxic? If so

where were they tested? I was also wondering since I am and have been for

several years if my son

was affected in the womb. One more question. How do you chelate a school-age

child?

ie. provide them with DMSA every four hours when they're in school or put them

on DMPS

every eight hours.

Sorry for all of the questions. I appreciate your help. Thanks,

Wyndie,

I am allergic to sulfa drugs and I am okay with DMSA. I think your

dose is too high. I started at 10 mg and if I were doing it over,

I would start at 6.25 mg. I suggest you try a dose of at most

12.5 mg next time.

Are you on any adrenal support? Your symptoms of pain and fatigue

sound like you might need something. I tolerated chelators much

better after getting adrenal support.

,

I had my children tested using hair tests and Andy's counting

rules. I think my two oldest were slightly affected by my amalgams

but vaccines were their main insult. There was definate problems

both at birth and regressions after vaccines. My youngest had no

vaccines but I had a mouth full of leaky amalgams, so I'm sure her

poisoning came from me.

My two oldest are homeschooled so I'm not sure how to help you with

chelating a school-age child. If you are able, I think the best way

would be to go to the school every 4 hours and administer the meds

yourself. IMO, you can't trust someone in the school system to

remember that on top of everything else they have to remember.

I use the autism-mercury yahoo group for help with my kids. Not

everyone there follow AC, but many do and there are many

knowledgeable parents on that list who will be able to give you

great advice on chelating children. Here's the link:

Good luck! :)
