Yes, sharing and honesty come easily to those of us who have sat 'around the tables' but everyone here shares so openly and honestly about this disease that I know you will stay glad you found us.

I posted earlier today as a newcomer to this group and was blown away toget the replies so quickly. What I most love is that your replies arehonest and upbeat. I am a "live in the solution and positive" person.Finding a group like this one is an answer to prayer.My name is Lark. I'll learn my way around in this on-line format...alittle new to me.I went to see my doctor this morning and asked for a referral to adifferent pulmonary specialist after hearing some rather negativecomments about the local guy. My doctor was totally up for it...thoughtI wanted to stay local or would have referred me elsewheres. I'll fillyou in after I get the details. My doctor also had time for a long visitthis morning so we really talked and shared together. This was a bigboost for me emotionally. I feel so much better...a little knowledgegoes a long way. He is very clear that this is a long, arduous journey. Honesty means so much to me.I read each of your suggestions with interest. I'll follow them. Theyare practical and will make life simpler. I am accustomed to groupsharing due to my involvement with AA. I feel just like I did when Ifound AA and understood my situation. I much prefer a diagnosis to notknowing and now I have a group to join. It doesn't get much better thanthat in my world.
