Guest guest
Val, yes I've dosed up quickly and I'm taking a total of 87.5 mcg for the entire day, I dose every 3 hours 9am 25, Noon 18.75, 3pm 25, 6pm 18.75 with my HC. Am I bad?? I was extremely hypo while taking 4 gr. Naturethroid and I couldn't get out of bed after 3 days off Naturethroid. I wrote you and Nick about the fatigue and what I should watch out for the first week. I simply have not been able to stay out of bed with normal dose raising every 5 - 7 days Val. At best within 3 - 4 days of a raise I'm flat on my back again and can't get out of bed, I can't function without raising the meds. I've had a hectic morning so just checked my bp it's 61, and blood pressure is 118/74. There are times later in my day that bp gets up to 85 and blood pressure 138/80. So far I haven't had any hyper symptoms and I understand what you say about T3 pooling and not being able to get into jammed receptors and probability of going hyper but I started out very hypo on NT and after starting T3 I find I'm still too tired to function and do good to get one thing a day done. When I raise the dose I'm able to function physically and mentally. Below is what you and Nick wrote earlier. As long as you are not having any intolerance symptoms it is fine to raise before 5-7 days if getting hypo. Intolerance would be anxiety worsening, high poulse or high temps. Or temps dropping drastically if adrenals cn;t handle it.After 12 weeks lab tests showing the serum levels don't show what's happening at receptor level>How fast can I raise this dose again, I feel like I'm dying on the >vine with fatigue? My rt3 ratio was 14.8 3 months ago when labs were >taken. I don't want to rush things but are we supposed to be drop >dead exhausted for the next 12 weeks??You don't have to stay hypo while waiting, if you were hypo beforestarting T3 than a faster raise for the first couple of increases mayclear that hypo.If you go higher that 100 or so in the ramp up to clear hypo symptomsthen you may well hit hyper at clearance but it will clear in a fewhours after dropping dose, just watch out for itNick<<Posted by: " " artisticgroomer@... valharlyFri Jun 11, 2010 2:23 am (PDT)"I'm already dosing up to 87.5 mcg of T3 4 X a day and it hasn't even been a month on it for me."This statement says it all. It takes 12 weeks to clear RT3 from the receptors so it CAN work, While waiting through this TIME I do not believe super high doses are needed nor valuable. Is 87.5 a total for the day or what you are taking four TIMES a day? If taking that much at each dose, ti is TOO MUCH (unless SR) and beating nervous system and adrenals hard. When T3 pools in the blood it can look wonderful but if RT3 is still scrammed in the receptors, you will not get energy form it,. Just a nervous expression and sometimes a high pulse as heart tissue so particularly susceptiblek to T3 in the blood.-- Kem in Eugene <º)))><
