Guest guest Posted June 19, 2008 Report Share Posted June 19, 2008 So I haven't posted much here lately. In early May I starting having problems with numbness and tingling in my hands. I thought that it was raynauds because I was just dx with it. Between May 6th and 29th it'd gotten worse. My hands hurt and fall asleep, are very sensitive, tingly, feel like pin pricks and now it's in my forarms too. Pain mostely in my forearms. I had am appointment with my PCP May 29th and she said that she didn't think it was Raynauds and did an EMG. The EMG was normal I guess. No problems they said. I do not have carpal tunnel. So she wanted me to see a neurologist. I saw the neuro yesterday and told him my symptoms. Since my appointment on teh 29th the sensations had moved into my feet and legs. From the knees down. One night I woke up because it felt like my cell phone was on vibrate and near my right foot, well it was actually my foot vibrating. well not vibrating but it felt like it. Anyway the neuro is concerned that my age and symptoms suggest multiple sclerosis. I have a brain MRI and spinal tap sceduled. PLEASE tell me that this numbness and pain crap is just another PSC thing. Anyone have similar stuff???? PBC, PSC, Raynauds, hypothyroid, ?
