I am very frustrated with my husband's doctor today. I had called and

left a message with the nurse about his abdominal pain. I explained

that he said it was a heartburn-like pain but wasn't heartburn. I was

told to have him take prilosec otc and not worry about it. His

bloodwork had also come back showing that the bilirubin is STILL

raised, going on 3 months now, and was told that the doctor is not

worried about it. Now if the liver is possibly enlarged because the

spleen can't be seen on ultrasound, his eyes are yellow, his bilirubin

is elevated, and he has some pain in his abdomen, doesn't that seem

like the doctor should look into things a little more? He keeps

saying there is nothing to be concerned about. Does that sound

right? I am going to try to get him in to a different doctor for a

second opinion. I don't know how long that will take.
