New developments in treatment?

Curious if anyone has seen recent articles or knows of ongoing studies

to help those with PSC. I have limited internet access to medical

resources and being in Toronto there are very few doctors actively

involved in doing any research related to this condition. Disappointed

at the recent Urso posts but still optimistic.

Dear ,My 19 year old daughter has PSC & UC. She is on Urso......and it definitely keeps her liver readings down. She went off all meds for about 2-3 months as she did not like the side affect...her liver readings went up quite a lot. She then resumed her Urso and Lialda ( taken for her UC) and her liver reading came down...not normal as they never will be. They have done some studies on Urso in Germany and it came out that Urso does help but DOES NOT stop the PSC. I will try to see if I can find the article and send it to you. I could not find it but perhaps this brochure will help you as it has some great websites. Goodluck.
