Sorry to hear about your diagnosis, however, you have come to the right place for answers to your questions. You will get a wealth of information from the group and we give our opinions freely. I am a 57 year old male and was diagnosed back in 1995. I get blood work done about every 6 months just to make sure nothing is going on. Thank God I haven't had any major problems in 12 years. Others have different stores to tell. I also have Ulcerative Colitis and was DX around the same time as the PSC. I just had my colon removed due to a cancerous lesion. I now have a J-Pouch formed from my small intestines. That will now be my new colon. If you are getting serious about this young lady I would be up front with her and let her know about your problems and the possible concerns in 10 years. If she is serious about you she won't even blink an eye. If she decides to bolt on you, then you know that she wasn't too serious at all....just my opinion. Please tell us a little more about yourself, you name, where you live. Larry, 57, Baltimore, UC, PSC, 95 - J-Pouch 07 See what's free at AOL.com. Be a better Heartthrob.
