Oh My! we talked about 5 ERCPs, I hope that was just a slip of the finger to imagine 50 of those things. My worst dread of an ERCP was the anesthetic spray and the pink gumball stuff to prevent bubbles. After throwing up several times when they tried to give me that stuff, I convinced them to put me under first. After that it was easy. I did get pseudomonis infections twice. After that, when I told them to be sure I got antibiotics before the procedure and why I was concerned, the nurse gasped "Oh! You're the one. That was awful and we had to totally examine our procedures and equiptment." That was nice to hear.

It is too bad the stent didn't work for you, I had several, but didn't really notice any reduction in itching. I'm glad that time of my life is over. My new liver is doing great, 4 1/2 years and counting.
