Transplant Lists and Cancer

Do any of you know how you are affected as far as a transplant list, if you are

told that you have kidney cancer but the tumor has already been removed?

I am not currently on a list and I don't have any problems related to my liver

but I'm worried about when it does come time to be listed. Thanks.
