HI everyone,well they went the pills!!!! Yeah!!! flew in a 6am this morning, and after getting Steffi on the bus, took me up to the hospital. All we had to do then was see a surgical registrar, who wrote out a script and we could leave. He was very blase about it all, said if we had any questions to ask at the liver clinic on Monday (I suspect he knew nothing, and as the registrar who has been looking after me the last 7 weeks was away, I don't think he cared much).

Anyway, they will take a few weeks to work (apparently), but I will find out more on Monday.Meanwhile lots of rest, eat what I can and hope for the best.Penny T
