Guest guest
Hi nne, Having PSC over a long time span depletes bone. And taking prograf can cause bone loss, too. My bones had become less dense before TX. Since TX,having frequent labs over the years indicates that my calcium level has remained good, and DEXA scans have shown actual increase in bone density over the years. I had several infusions of Pamidronate, and I take 1200 mg of calcium w/D a day. It would be good to have vitamin K and A checked sometime, too. Take care.
