Guest guest
I'm 9 months into chelation post-amalgam removal and have some new questions. I finished my 5th round of ALA/DMPS 10 days ago. I had been doing 25mg ALA and 25mg DMPS (ALA every 3 hrs, DMPS every 8 round the clock)for 3 of the 5 rounds - round 3 I tried ALA alone, which felt better than with DMPS. Because of all I've read in the archives and current posts, I added DMPS back in and extended round 5 for 5 days, trying to chelate longer and lessen number of redistributions over time. It seems the extended round was too much of a burden, also at a time I was stressed due to other live demands. The extended round seemed to have triggered some adrenal symtoms. I'm currently taking Adrenal Support in the form of Adrenal Complex, Adrenal Cortex and DHEA 30 mg. Sublingual. I've improved a great deal over the past year with this regimen, until this round when I had symptoms of chest tightness, heart beat with greater effort every morning at 6 AM lasting about 2 hours, and increased allergic symtoms for 6 days after the last round, now back to normal. I have done 2 Adrenal Stress Index tests over the past year. August '06, my cortisol levels were all elevated, especially the midnight reading. 9 months later all in the middle of normal range. Question: 1) My recent serum pregnenolone was 37 (range 15-132). Would pregnenolone be a good support to add and at what dosages do people usually start and settle at? Daily or several times per week? 2) The practitioner I'm working with recommended Phosphatidy Serine. Does anyone have any experience with this?
