Guest guest
Make sure you take very good care of yourself as you remain a rock for Ken & everyone else, Barb. It’s a rollercoaster ride for caregivers, too, as you will soon learn to appreciate in many ways, & you will need your own quality rest to remain the great caregiver you are. You already know Ken is in great hands, with top-notch surgeons & talented, caring nurses, but Jim & I will be keeping all of you in our prayers that everything goes smoothly, that the new liver is perfect, that the grieving donor family receives some measure of small comfort from their decision, & that Ken’s recovery is absolutely textbook. Jim & I are excited for the Henshaw family, & Ken’s going to look & feel soooo much better, very very soon! All the best, Maureen ( & Jim)
