Guest guest
YIKES! Then I need to get my second one once I'm off the pred and before I have a tx. I've been whining to my neph for nearly a year about the pred putting my fox tattoo in a holding pattern. I got one on my back of my own design for my 30th birthday and was going to get a fox for my 35th....needless to say I was on pred when my 35th hit. :-p Amy G. Re: Question I was told tattoos are a no-no after the tx. Sorry. Doyle wrote: Hi all! I was just wondering I saw on here about people getting pregnant. Can you have a baby while on all these drugs? My doctor told me that I can't have anymore children. Won't the drugs do damage to the baby? Also, anyone get a tatoo while on these drugs? I really want to get a small, cute tatoo. I would like a purple rose and in the stem of the flower I want my daughters name. Anyone got a tattoo after there transplant. I am going to ask the doctor tomorrow at clinc but I was just wondering what you guy's had to say. __________________________________________________
Guest guest
Rita, Yes the protein is creeping back up again. My last 24 hr urine it was back above 4400mg/24 hr. I was throwing up (pretty violently at times) every morning. I started throwing up blood also. My protein decreased down to 1700 after the first month I started CellCept and then just started back up again. I was on it for 5 1/2 months. They seem to think I am puffy now due to the diarrhea and vomiting stopping. Yes, back on the fish oil. I was on them before, but I stopped as it helped with the diarrhea. I get the Sam's club brand also. I guess wait and see what April 4th brings..

Guest guest
Hey Sharon! What do you do for your insulin resistance? My doc recently informed me that I am no longer making amalin (sp?) so now my body doesn't know what to do w/ the insulin I'm injecting and he precribed Byetta, 5 mcg before breakfast (I work at night so I can't do nightime shots of it cuza the predicted nausea). My numbers have been all over the board since diagnosis as well. I know diabetes is one of many issues you have to deal with, but I was wondering if you're taking anything that's supposed to help with the insulin resistance. I haven't tried the Byetta yet - I'm a little scared...I was reading the insert and it flat out says type 1's are not to take it! Aaaah! Also I'm doing an internal cleanse right now so I want to wait till I'm done with that before I start something else. Anyway, thanks a bunch - hope to hear back from you soon! PS how are the boys? -Jess I have been type I diabetic for 32 years and have NEVER had any normal readings. Mine usually shuffle from 30 to 600. I am diagnosed as Type I insulin dependent insulin resistant brittle diabetic. > Sharon > Type I-1974

Guest guest
Tricyclic antidepressants-blockage or reuptake of certain neurotransmitters that cause the brain to misinterpret or ignore pain impulses. I just one of the posts explaining tricyclic antidepressants and their use for pain. My neurologist said no pain for 6 months and one can begin to taper off. But I am wondering, if it does not cure the pain, wouldn't the pain just return after coming off the meds?? CDelicious ideas to please the pickiest eaters. Watch the video on AOL Living.
