have Ulcerative Colitis and no meds from SCD? Read me!

I have Ulcerative Colitis. Been on the diet for almost 2 months (still very

newbie) but i'm incredibly impatient! I still have pain, but i'm " normal " as far

as no blood and solid BM's. This is definitely from the medicine i'm on though

which for now is asacol 12 pills a day and Entocort enema's every night before

bed.

My question is, for those of you who have Ulcerative Colitis and did the SCD

diet, how long did it take to get off your meds? How was your progress of

getting off them? I'm pretty sure i'll know if I have a reaction to a food even

while i'm on meds, so i'm following the stages on pecanbread. I just want to

hear some success stories because it will make me feel better about following

this diet. Please give as much info as you can, and thanks in advance!!
