(like all people) make mistakes. I’d

call and ask someone (get their name) at the transplant center you want to use. Otherwise you may (like this man) find

out too late, it’s a no-no.

On the other hand you are right, there was more than meets

the eye going on. The article stated; the man was turned down for a transplant by

one center. Rather than quit (and

wait the 6 months proving he was clean) he opted to continue smoking and just go

to another center. In the meantime,

the man was growing marijuana in his home and got arrested. Of course the second center would turn

him down! He was told, the responsibility

at that point - was his alone.
