I'm waiting for results of my recent blood tests to check my progesterone levels. I was wondering if these levels might also indicate problem areas with the other hormones without directly testing them. For example, if my P comes back too high, does that IMPLY that my E is too low or vice versa? And if it comes back normal, does that say anything at all? Thanks, Becky Becky, just my two cents, but I think you would need the different levels as well to have a clearer picture. If you've not read Vliet's book, I'd consider it. She has the best hormone info and when you learn more about it, it helps you to be more confident when speaking with your doc. Too, I think it's harder to convince a doc to work with you if you don't understand what the levels mean for yourself. When you understand, it's harder for them to 'bulldoze' over you. I've had several rounds of hormone tests now. And the first ones were at age 32. I got grief from my doc, but so what, I still PUSHED hard for them!
