Guest guest
I just got results of my Metametrix Amino Acid Profile. Three of the essential AA's are slightly below normal - Isoleucine, Phenylalanine and Valine. Under the category of Ammonia/Energy Metabolism the AA a-Aminoadipic Acid is High at 14.6 (Reference Limit <= 4.0). I can't seem to find any information about this AA and what the elevation means. Does anyone have any knowledge about this? Also, I have tried taking Jaroow's L-Glutamine 1,000 mg, a few times, since my level is the very low end of normal. I have GI symptoms I was hoping it would help. Each time I have felt edgey within about an hour and the muscles of my arms, neck and shoulders and chest feel very tight and bound. Could it be the amount is too high? Any other info re: L-Glutamine reactions? Thanks for all of the help and support from so many of you who share so generously.
