DMSA Immediately after Amalgam removal?

I've read on another site that some recommend taking 10mg of DMSA

every four hours for a few days after amalgam removal. I assume this

would be to clean up any mercury that finds its way into the blood.

Has anyone tried this? Or is this not recommended?
