Guest guest
I have been following the thread about tea containing fluoride. I am interested in making kombucha tea due to its many health benefits. I do have low thyroid and avoid fluoride in my toothpaste and water. I drink reverse osmosis water. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can enjoy the benefits of kombucha, but avoid the fluoride in the tea. Green and black tea are usually used to make kombucha. My starter came in the mail recently and I am anxious to get started making it, but don't want to ingest fluoride. Thanks, Deborah
Guest guest
Kombucha is a fungus and not a true tea so I am not sure it applies. I guess it would depend how you process it and the water you use. One thing I will say, don't use it if you have fungal infection and yeast like Candida.
