Guest guest
> And did you end up doing this on your own, or with a doctor? -------- A little of both. The women on the Natural thyroid hormone group were/are a great help. Through them I got Cortef over the internet which supported my adrenals. Then I found a doc through them who treated symptoms and he got me started on Armour and some tests. is right - my thyroid tested in the normal range although I have every single hypo symptom. The doc said it was probably a pituitary problem. He's not that familiar with mercury chelation so I've not really discussed that with him. The only problem with this doc is that he started me so low on Armour and is raising it very slowly. I've sped things up and he's been good about calling in additional Armour scripts though. After 3 1/2 months I'm only at 2 1/2 grains. I really think I need alot more. My adrenals weren't as weak as I thought - the tests indicated I was only below the range at 6 pm. I think most of my fatigue came from a damaged thyroid. Val
