Guest guest Posted March 9, 2007 Report Share Posted March 9, 2007 Olif With mercury poisoning the pituitary is often damaged leading to secondary hypothyroidism, and then TSH isn't useful, or low values actually indicate hypothyroidism. My TSH was always low and I am hypothyroid.
