Hi:

I've been on Urso 2400mg/day for a long time now but recent questions

got me thinking. Is the 2hr window before questran or after or both?

I've been taking one of my URSO doses 1hr before Questran and maybe

that's not enough time.

Also, Other than to prevent stomach upset, is there an

advantage/disadvantage to taking URSO with food?

Thanks,

Hi,

I only take 2 x 200mg pills of URSO a day and because it does not upset my stomach, I don't worry about taking it with food. I usually take a pill with lunch, but only because its a good time and I reminded. The second pill I try and remember to take it before going to bed. Usually I take this pill without food.

I'm not entirely sure whether it makes a difference taking URSO with

or without food. I take 1000 mg twice daily (both at mealtimes) but

sometimes, I've allowed considerable amounts of time between taking

the 2nd dosage and having dinner without any ill effects.

Recently, I've had some nausea with the first dose but it may have

been an additional med that was causing that and which fortunately was

a temporary med.

So if you need to take the URSO at times other than mealtime on

account of other meds, try it and see if it really makes a difference.
