We had over 100mph winds for 12 hours. I'm OK, my house is OK. There is a lot of destruction in my neighborhood. I've never seen anything like it.My power came back on about an hour ago. There are people who will have to wait weeks to get electricity. Five days with no electricity was bad.. food in refrigerator and freezers all rotten, but I'm not complaining. Neighbors with generators and grills took care of us old folks and shared their food and love with us.I never dreamed we would have such a

I've been wondering about you and I'm thrilled to hear you're ok. It's amazing how much havoc Ike caused even that far inland.

I've been praying for all the folks affected by Ike and I will continue to. Please keep us posted on how things are going.
