Guest guest Posted June 5, 2008 Report Share Posted June 5, 2008 Carolyn B, Last year my eyesight went very rapidly downhill, and when I told the transplant team, they immediately tested both vitamin A and D levels. They were a little below normal, but not falling, so we put it down to old age. They have had a patient that went almost blind even with massive injections of vitamins, then within days of transplant could see again. I thought this was interesting.
