Guest guest
The biopsy didn't happen until early afternoon, so I doubt we'll get the results before tomorrow. All of Ken's LFT's were worse (higher) today, Bilirubin is back up to 9.9 and after yesterday's 8.5 that was disappointing. During rounds today the doctor said they 'might' try Thymo, but no one is sure what they will do until the biopsy results come in. Meanwhile I'm pretty darn sure no stenting tomorrow, maybe even no stenting this week..... Bummer. We (Ken & I) were suppose to meet with other transplant patients today. All of them received their Gift of Life around the same time last year. We're sorry we'll miss them, it would have been a real hoot, but Ken & I (TJ & Kim too) are so happy they are doing well. Transplants really are a Gift of Life. Happy Re-Birthday - , Mike and Fern! God Bless the donor families, watch over them, give them comfort and peace.I'll update when we have news,Barb
