I highly recommend the colon and rectal surgeon who performed my colectomy in 1999, Dr. Ira Kodner; sounds like you already have someone great on your side, though. Who is your hep? I have actually only saw him once back in 2004 when I was diagnosed, but ironically I have an appointment with him this coming Tuesday 8/5/08. I really like -Jewish, as far as liking a hospital can go. That it is 10 minutes from my house is just icing on the cake! Do you like in St. Louis? I wish I was only 10 minutes from ; I was raised in central MO (Rolla) and went to Mizzou for my undergrad, but moved to Dyersburg, TN in 2001. It's 3 hours directly south of StL on I-55. But is the very best in our region, so we travel there! I've been hospitalized twice this summer for cholangitis attacks, and had 3 ERCPs since May so we are on the road a LOT.
